Rick
Battershell has been working with churches, pastors, and Christian
ministries since 1981. He is a CPA with a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from
Pacific
Lutheran
University
and a Master’s in Taxation from
Golden Gate
University
. He has been a long time member of the Washington State Society of
CPAs and is a member of and regular speaker for the National Association
of Church Business Administration. In the early 1980s, Rick
Battershell organized his first seminar for churches and ministers.
This yearly ministry rapidly expanded when
Battershell & Co. was
established in 1992. Rick is dedicated to providing quality tax and
accounting services to Christian ministries. Currently, the firm
spends approximately 80% of its time serving churches, ministries, and
pastors.
Troy
Anderson is general counsel at The City Church, a multi-denominational
church with campuses in
Kirkland
,
Seattle
, and
Issaquah
,
Washington
. Prior to joining the church staff he was a partner at the Ellis, Li
& McKinstry in
Seattle
and focused his law practice on churches and other 501(c)(3)
organizations.
Troy
is a graduate of
Portland
Bible
College
,
Warner
Pacific
College
(B.S., Business Administration, 1992) and Regent University School of Law
(J.D., 1995). He lives with his wife and five children in
Kirkland
and serves as a lay pastor at The City Church.
Allen H. Quist,
co-author of The
Spirit Driven Church, offers over 35
years of banking experience including regional management, management of commercial lending operations, and training
of commercial loan
officers in lending, financial analysis, and financial management. He provides
years of experience on church boards and working with church finances.
Allen earned his Master's of Arts in Pastoral
Studies with an emphasis in Church Management from Multnomah Biblical Seminary.
Allen is currently an adjunct professor at Multnomah and is working on a
Doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership at Regent University.
Darcy
Battershell a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University,
organizes and administers our annual fall seminar for churches.
